About Kabwe Hindu Association
Founded in the 1930s, the Kabwe Hindu Association has been a cornerstone for sustaining Hindu cultural heritage and religious values in Kabwe, Zambia. Our community was established by dedicated families seeking to preserve their faith, language, and traditions while contributing to Kabwe’s diverse social fabric.
Over the decades, the Association has evolved into a vibrant nonprofit organization, committed to promoting spiritual growth, charitable initiatives, and cultural events. Over the years, the Kabwe Hindu Association has achieved significant milestones, including the organization of annual religious festivals, many donation drives for the location community including building a Covid Ward at Kabwe General Hospital during the pandemic, the launch of the Legacy Housing Project to support community welfare, and ongoing efforts in charity and volunteering. These accomplishments reflect our unwavering commitment to building a vibrant, unified, and compassionate society rooted in Hindu principles.
